A car accident that killed a Congress leader, injuring over 8

The incident took place near Shidur in Siddapur Taluk, where a car and a car carrying a wedding party took place, killing one person and injuring more than 8.

Manjunatha B, a former member of the Nilkunda panchayat of Siddapur taluk in Uttara Kannada district, and the president of the Congress unit, collided between a vehicle carrying a wedding party and a car coming from the opposite side. More than 8 people were injured after Gowda died.

More than 8 people in the two vehicles were injured and all have been hospitalized. A case has been registered at Siddapur police station.
